Napolean and Betsy rumor news // 1 May 2008
EWO has been updated with some news about Emma's rumored role  in Napolean and Betsy that we told you about on the 18th. Go check it out.

I said the other day that I would put up some guidelines on designing submissions for Watson Weekly. I still need to do that, but I thought I would give some basic information in case anyone wanted to start on something right away. If you don't want to design the page(s) yourself, you can ignore this.
  • The page size we will be using is the international standard A4 (210 × 297mm or 8.3 × 11.7 inches). You should use a resolution of 300 pixels/inch. If you are working in pixels and not paper size, that would be 2480 x 3508 pixels.
  • Use 0.5 inch margins. You can go outside the margins, but not with anythng important as part of it may be cut off.
  • The pages will be reduced, so you shouldn't use too small of a font, 14 pt should be the smallest you use.
  • If you use special fonts, they must be available free on the web, or your submission will have to be saved and sent in as an image.
I will try to have more detailed guidelines soon.

Watson Weekly Issue 16 // 28 April 2008
At long last it's time for a new issue of Watson Weekly. We are making some changes to WW starting with this issue. Fan art and music videos have been regular features in WW, but we would like to start including more articles contributed by fans. In this issue we have several articles received over the past few months; a Ballet Shoes review, a look back at Emma's life over the years in Remember Emma, and a fan story about Emma at the Oxford Christmas Lights event. Neve also tells us about her trip to the Vanity Fair exhibit, and Amy talks about the making of WW, and how you can contribute.

There will be even more changes for the next issue which we hope you will like. For those who would like to contribute articles for WW, I will post some guidelines soon. If you wish to design your own pages, please wait until I have done that.

Have a nice day!

Emma One Of The Most Stylish Teen Stars // 25 April 2008

'Ello!

Emma was named one of the most stylish teen stars on StyleList.com. The website comments:

"Harry Potter hottie Emma Watson's eye for couture has made her a fashion force to be reckoned with at the tender age of 17. For the opening of the Vanity Fair exhibit at the London Portrait Gallery, she's stunning in Burberry Prorsum."

Her picture is #2 on the list.
Her Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe also made the list.

Congrats to them!

Update: As Tayna noted, we posted this back on 13 April. Oops! But some other sites are just getting around to posting it, so it's kind of like new news again.

Written Britain video // 20 April 2008
Emma appeared on the ITV program Travels in Written Britain today, a new series about "how the places of Britain have influenced writers throughout history." Emma read an excerpt from George Eliot's great niece's diary. We have a video her segment. It's not the best quality, but it's all I've seen so far. Thanks to Danielle for sending it in.

Update: We have high quality version now in the video archive. Credit to snoop at celebutopia.
